This beautiful commemorative piece was created in celebration of the Nightingale Initiative. Light the Way, is a tribute to Florence Nightingale and the 100 years of legacy she has left behind her. It is also a dedication to the millions of nurses who have followed in her footsteps. The original piece was done in charcoal and pastel. This is an 8 1/2 X 11 signed print reproduction.The original concept of this artwork came from a request by the Beta Zeta chapter of STTI to create a piece commemorating Florence Nightingale and the International Year of the Nurse. The original piece was put up for a raffle to raise money for a local scholarship fund. It was so popular that it has since been reproduced for sale.
